Question Aircare Question

Let's say a person fails and gets a conditional pass, good for - what is it........3 months?

Fine - what if 3 months is all that person wanted to drive anyhow?

The year goes by and the next year is upon them - and they must again go through aircare - is last years fail still looming over their head?
Or can they simply go through again - knowingly going to fail - and drive again for the wanted 3 months?

Re: Aircare Question

Then you have to prove that an attempt to correct the problem was given?

Like a set amount of money?

I've been through this before. You get a 3 month, and then need to get a conditional or full pass to continue insuring the car (or to re-insure the car again). Once you have that you can get another 3 months the next time you fail.

How is that possible? Diesel pollute worse than gasoline. Besides, how bad could the Blazer be?

It's not bad at all.
It's just that the Golf gets lower numbers than it does.

I would guess it's because they haven't properly figured out how to test diesels.

Re: Aircare Question

aircare is a joke... my father once took in his late 90's accord, anyways, they ran it once... had a problem, got no figures... ran it again, same problem... well, finally they just tell him to go, he gets his pass with numbers that were totally unlike any of the readings he had in previous or later years... basically, they made the numbers up because they couldn't get readings (for some reason, not saying his car doesn't pollute... but they f-ed up)
