any aftermarket intake for the LT!?
If you mean like a $200 Edelbrock/weiand/holley sort of thing then no, back years ago Edelbrock and Lingenfelter both tried and failed to produce anything worthy of full scale froduction. The thread fastbird is mentioning is about a custom built unit costing big money and only really meant for the big dogs, there are a couple companies working on such stuff, thing is while they will give nice gains at high rpms they will cost as much as a basic motor rebuild and maybe more.
Not that they are bad or anything, just not for the average enthusiast.

At the Hot Rod race in Memphis there was talk that there was a new FI intake for the LT1's kinda like the Vic Jr. that is in the works. I haven't heard anything else about it or any details about it, but that was the rumor there.
edelbrock is coming out with the victor Jr/super victor and the victor G manafolds set up with injector bungs. This is not a direct bolt on to your lt1/lt4 heads. new manafold bolt holes have to bedrilled..old ones welded up. Have to either use a 90 deg elbow to mount your throttle body or an aftermarket single blade throttle body. You can also use a top mount 4 bl. throttle body.
So bacially..yes..something is coming out(actually there are a few on the market already) but it will take some fabrication to make it work. Its not even close to a direct bolt on.
