If all goes well, tomarrow ill be firing up the beast. Im gunna be open headers untill i have time to have a y pipe made. Will this cause my timing to retard? I was just wondering. I cant wait to see what kind of power this Joe Overton cam Lloyd heads and Jett hott long tubes makes.

 

Watch out for wind, if the wind is blowing pretty hard your o2's will get bad readings. Also, your knock sensor will probably be detecting false knocks due to the deafening sound of open headers, other than that you should be fine.

BTW, the answer is yes since the computer will more than likely sense false knock more often.
