code 42

42 Ignition Control (IC) circuit (shorted or grounded circuit). Any help on this one.

My Hayne's manual- quote: Check the wiring and connections between the ignition module and the ECM/PCM. Replace the ignition module. *Replace the ECM/PCM*

*- Component replacement may not cure the problem in all cases. For this reason, you may want to seek professional advice before purchasing.

ICM or connections...

I have tried a differant PCM and ign. control mod. Can't find anything wrong with the wires. Any other ideas?
