parking/emergency brake

I have not drove my car in a week. Went out there moved it in the driveway. And I pull up the parking brake and the brake light dont come on?? It did last week. It comes on at startup, so where is the sensor at??

Question 2.

I think I need alignment( but i cant do wiht my aftermarkert wheels) I checked my tires. Front driver is fine but thr passenger is worn very bad on the inside(side closeest to the body). I guess I will have to put stock tires back on and go get it aligned.

under the console, there is a clip that snaps onto the e brake mount. it is one wire orange i think. check the connection.

Why can't it be aligned with aftermarket wheels? I'm running 17 X 9.5 and my alignment shop didn't have any issues.

Your alignment needs to be made with the wheels/tires you are running for it to be correct.

Well the eagle wheels have no "lip" so every shop I go too can not align the car. They say they cant hook on to my wheels.

So where at under the console under where the e brake is??

thanks guys

Have you tried a reputable alignment shop? They should be able to align your car regardless of what kind of wheels you have. If not, and your stock wheel/tire combination height isn't the same, the alignment will be off, and you'll be right back where you started from. I would try to find a shop that specializes in vehicle alignment, not just a tire shop.

you can probobly see it if you remove the shifter boot. it is just one wire that connects to a switch at the front of the ebrake mount.

I had eagle 077's on my 95 v6 a few years ago and I was told I couldn't get the vehicle aligned with them on.
I'm sure it's better to align with the wheels you are going to use but I would think they could get close with the stock wheels.
