a little sand left in my intake from sand blasting.. HELP

ok, when my intake was powdercoated, the guy didn't get all the sand out of it. I already preasure washed it and that didn't help... it just ended up scratching the top of the intake up. (those little buggers take off with preasure washing) anyways... I can still see some sand in there... I spent most of the night using my air compressor to try to blow the sand out... now I'm itching like crazy, but I still know there is more sand in there.... what do you suggest?

wash several times with soap and water after you pull all the plugs out if you havent done so already. anything left after that should be minimal if any

plugs don't go into the intake.. so why would I pull them? the intake is not on the car right now BTW.... but the sand is inside of the intake.

He is referring to the passage plugs that are under the metal shield on the bottom of the intake. I don't think you want to take a chance that any sand is anywhere in your intake.
