cam/head stock bottom A4 runs 11.63 on drag radials

Since James Eddy doesnt have internet access ,he asked if I'd post his new best and I even have to say for drag radial cam /head lt1 the times were impressive...

1st pass

1.70 60 ft
7.469@92.82
11.69@117.04

2nd pass

1.66 60 ft.
7.419@92.80
11.638@117.28

car was short shifting so we have to get that ironed out.As well as get some new meats on this thing ...and possible gear change to take advantage of the upper rpm charge...since tha car only has a 3:73 gear new gear and heavy foot launch will put this thing in the low 11's no prob...

Is this the 420/420 car?? WOW!! I would have expected to see a bit more trap speed though??? Seems kind of low for that power output.

VERY nice though!

well its gonna be low when you dont leave to the wood..anything short of off idle blew the tires off..did you miss the A4 part of the equation?

The car is ETing very well for what it is, but with 420rwhp I would think it would trap atleast 120 which would give an even more impressive ET

Another trap/RWHP number not adding up on Joe O car. Must be the lead body panels

11.6 is a good time for heads/cam car. Hardly say a 1.6 60' is an easy launch however.

Gotcha, I didn't think about that at all. He was probably really light in the throttle until moving at a pretty good clip huh?? Sorry, didn't mean to be a skeptic. I've had a long day and wasn't thinking.

For the skeptics, do you really think a 420 RWHP car can just plant the gas off the line with just drag radials???

tire and gear it will surely...but as i found out some people dont understand how gearing and tire affect certain combinations let alone how one must leave on a drag radial to make a clean pass..Its bone stock suspended

He'll most likely be in the 120's with slicks, a rear, and a suspension then. That's freaking awesome. Just awesome.

fast all that and weight removal...a whole bunch goes in what the final out come is..and most know that ..Its just easy to pick apart a time and et and weigh it against Hp...theres to many things not even possible to really factor in unless you had all day and it still wouldnt be accurate.....x hp doesnt =x mph unless all things are considered ideal...
