help! coolant line leaking

i came home tonight and there was steam coming out from under the hood , so i popped it and there was a good amount of coolant dripping from somewhere by the pass side header. i couldnt really see that well but i could see it was hitting my y pipe and smoking. is this a upper or lower radiator hose? any help would be much appreciated, this has never happened to me before. , im going to jack it up in the morning what and where should i look to find the problem? thanks

It's usually the crappy crimps on the heater hoses. Mine where leaking at the restrictor so I carefully cut them off with a hacksaw and reconnected them with worm clamps. If that is your case as well, I suggest you flush the heater core with a garden hose while you're there. Might help prevent the "my heater don't work" blues we hear about almost weekly.

You might want to take it to a radiator shop.

just checked it out, when the shop replaced a bad heater core last time, they neglected to put the heat shield over the right side hose into the heater core , which rested on the passenger side header. does ne one know a part number for this hose and the rubber cuff ?thanks
