car boggs at low rpm??

question #1 ...
it has a miss at low rpms right in between 45 and 55 mph some times i could here something pop through the exhast or intake??? 94 camaro lt-1 a4

i've recently installed??
230/236 cam 112 lsa
3000 street fighter converter
1.6rr
pcm for less tuning
i still have the stock 3.23's

oh i also got a oil leak that i cant find, i think its the rear main seal or the intake manifold??

i feel like i should be in the high 12's but really sure i'm at high 13's

Do you still have the EGR? They're good for low rpm stumble. Also see if the vac hose to the FPR is wet.

As far as the leak is concerned, if it is external. Clean the block real well where you suspect it's leaking and put die in the oil. UV light and usually sun light make it glow. Don't forget if you don't see drops of oil on the drive way but your oil is going down, you could have a leak internal.

intake leak

well when i put the intake manifold on i put the original gasket and i used silicone because i was in a hurry to get the car going that i didnt want to wait for the gasket . the uv light is a good idea i have one from a ac kit i bought last year. what do you guys think if i check vacum and how to check it ?? any more suggestions.. thanks for the replys

your problem sounds like mine. I have an oil leak i have to track down too. mine is plug wire arcing. (missfire on cylinder 2 and 6). more details to come once i get working on it. -Michael

plugs and wires didnt cure mine mine was also arcing cured that though.

your fpr is bad you need a new one
