Drilling holes in the fenderwell?

Drilling holes in the fenderwell?
Could there be any problems drilling a hole in the passenger side fenderwell, beneath the ECM? I am planning on running all those wires that run up the passenger side fenderwell inside the wheelwell so that they are hidden. I will probably just use a 1/2" hole saw if that matters.
