P/N FOR TORX SCREWS ON TPS for LT1???
Does anyone happen to have the P/N or the correct size and length of the torx screws that hold the Throttle Position Sensor on the Throttle Body???
This is for a 93 LT1
Thanks

The only way the parts book lists them is in a "bolt kit" and it does not give any information on the size of the bolt/screw. I tried to find this before for Injuneer.
The bolt kit is GM PART # 17113098, which is basically all the small bolts on the TB.

Thanks guys. I'm not ready to pay $20 or so for the kit, but I'll save that p/n for a last resort. I'll try pulling the one bolt that I have left (head snapped off the other one) and take it over to W W Grainger and see if they can match the thread dia and pitch

I should have thought of that.
Thanks for the offer NOMAD, but I was looking for a more immediate solution than snail mail
I did eventually find the dimensions of the screw though.
It's 4.5 MM x .75 pitch
17mm long (thread length w/o the head)
Unfortunely, that is a very odd screw, that not even most bolt houses carry. I was told that it was basically a fine thread metric screw, so it was the pitch that presented the problem - no real demand, so very few stocking locations. After checking around with 4 different places locally, I decided to give up, even though I did have a few more leads. (If I had kept driving around searching, it would have been about as expensive as just going over to GM and picking-up the TB screw kit.
)
Anyway, I ending up tapping the holes in the TB for a more standard size screw.
That's for the help guys...

The top plate does not contain much in the way of vacuum or pressure. It flows air from in front of the throttle blades to the passenger side valve cover, for the PCV system. Put some O2 sensor-safe RTV on the plate/gasket, and tighten down the 5 screws that you still have, for a temporary fix. Just don't leave out one of the corner screws.
