i looked on shoebox's site and i didn't see it.
You place your meter leads between the dark blue and black wires to the TPS. It is much easier and less intrusive to use a scanner, if you have one.

Key on/engine off/harness on the sensor:

Measure the voltage between the gray wire (5V reference) and the black wire (ground from PCM). Should be 5.0V.

With the throttle closed, measure the voltage between the dark blue wire (signal) and the black wire. Should read in the range of 0.30V to 0.90V. PCM accepts any voltage in that range and baselines it as 0% throttle position. Stock/unmolested throttle body will usually read 0.60V - 0.67V.

Slowly rotate the blades open. Voltage should increase smoothly - no spikes or dropouts - until it reaches about 4V higher than the closed throttle voltage, at WOT.

Re: P/N FOR TORX SCREWS ON TPS for LT1???

Got to say I love this car, but its tiring to drive me in to an early grave.

So a few weeks ago, car had an issue with shuddering and losing power. If you floored the throttle, it would correct its self. It was beginning to happen more frequently. So we changed the ECM, as this had been a problem years ago and it turned out to be the ECM. Well it wasn’t that. I figured since we had replaced the
Fuel pump
Water pump
opti X2
rad
Over flow tank
Low coolant sensor
Coolant temp sensor
And now the ECM.
We also changed the IAC about three years ago
I figured maybe it was the TPS, hence this original post. We also changed the fuel filter which had a bunch of crud in it.

So the car ran great for the last two plus weeks. Last night we went to swap vehicles in the garage and it didn’t want to start. Then again this morning, hard start had to give it lots of gas.

I have a fuel pressure tester.
What are the pressures suppose to be?

And is there anything else that I’m just over looking?
It always runs 94 plus octane and gets oil changes no more than every three months.
Thanks again

Suggestions for improving your changes of getting a response:

You would be better off starting a new thread with your specific problem fully described. I don't think there are going to be many people reading a thread asking for a part number for a screw.

You need to add a "signature" showing your car's basic info - year, model, engine, trans and any major mods. I know in your first post you mentioned its a 96, but people need to be able to get this info without paging back through an old thread.

Start over with a new thread, and I'll respond with the info on how to measure the fuel pressure. Have you ever scanned it for codes?
