Hey Grip what's up. Why are you looking to ditch your current setup? Just wondering.....it sure is sweet sounding.
Anyways I think I would give those Flopro's a shot because they're longer and would probably be quieter when cruising without sacrificing performance.....damn those LS1s sound mean.

I'm just changing the mufflers.
I have dynomax Super Turbos. They have 2 u-bends inside (Like an "S" shape) and they're very restrictive.
I've been told going to a bullet muffler with my setup would be a significant gain in horsepower.

heres some proof for ya that the super turbos are restrictive..........check out the CFM in the thread on ls1tech
unfortunately the twisters arent listed in the comparison, and neither are the dynomax bullets.

Dynomax' website says there is even a bigger difference between super turbos and their bullets.

i would assume the bullets flow pretty damn high, and close to a straight pipe..........i bet youll notice some extra power on your 383
