That thread is proof that flowmasters are junk.

The center part is a tube so yes you can see through them.

finally a post i can do more than ask a question. ok as you can see in sig i have twisters, and i LOVE them. i use to have a crapmaster(flow) when i bought the car and i hated the sound, wimpy. so i got the muffler took out and put a pair od twisters one one eather side of the gas tank. i like this better they fit higher and dont heat the gas tank near as bad due to them being to the side instead of under it. and you can defently tell the differance, the top end became mean! sorry no dyno numbers cause i cant find any in wester tn by martin. anyways the sound is great

Thats what I wanted to hear.

A considerable gain over Flowbastard.

Anyone have any cfm readings on the Twisters?

I don't know any flow numbers for them, but my friend got's a pair on his 96Z with an X pipe and it sounds bad ***. The motor is stock, but with the longtubes and the exhaust it doesn't sound like it!

Re: Flo Pro Twister Mufflers?

Excellent thread! My blowmasters are seriously getting on my nerves, especially after my 383 rebuild. The sound is waaaay to loud even at idle and especially while cruising on the highway. I am really considering adding a flo~pro twister somewhere in my i-pipe to quiet things down. Doesn't Flowmaster own Flo~Pro?

Re: Flo Pro Twister Mufflers?

I remember reading that the twisters are restrictive as hell compared to the bullets. People were loosing 20+ hp on the dyno with one in the I-pipe. It might not be so bad with true duals since there are 2 of them though...

Hmmm... 20 HP is serious. Does anyone have any more info on these?
