Question what is wrong ??

Hey guys when my car warms up to normal driving conditions. It starts to sputter and bog. Also it starts reving up on its on up to 2500 rpm. I took it to GM and they said my manifold is leaking oil into the optispark. What do you guys think?

Sounds like more than an opti. An opti wouldn't make your engine rev on its own. It just cuts ignition when it goes bad. Do you have an engine light (MIL).

Hmmm.... I'd like to see the readings on the Throttle Position Sensor. Your TPS may be going bad which may cause your rpms to rise. This is really odd. Any more details?

Hey wild1, that is a thought the( tps) will cause the reving but how about the sputtering and bogging. When the car temps gets around 220. Then things get crazy the sputtering, bogging and the reving. Other than that the car runs real strong .

This is really puzzling. A clogged Cat could cause sputtering as well as bad O2s and MAF. Is there any way you can get some live Current Data of your sensors? You can download FreeScan onto your PC and read your sensors if you've got the right cable.
