Spring install - Open end towards front, or what?

I need clarification from you guys. To install Eibach springs, does the open side on the bottom of the spring suppossed to face forward or towards the rear? Or is it the open side on the top of the spring suppossed to face forwards or to the rear? Is this the case for both the front and rear springs? Or what?? Please clear this up for me, as I want everything done right THIS TIME!!
Thanks alot.

Poooooooolease help, I have a date with the alignment guy tomorrow morning. I don't trust the other jerko## who installed them with my other shocks. I need everything perfectly right this time, or I will have to start seeing my shrink again. I need money for mods, not shrinkage.
Thanks

Rear springs, bottom of the coil, open end faces the front.

Front spring are oriented by the upper mount. They can only go on one way.
