1995 Z28 Coil and Coil Wire...

Ok Everyone...
I've got another question or two...

I've called around looking for an Ignition Coil and Coil Wire for my '95 Z and I've gotten several different manufacturers and prices...

I've seen the following...

Coil -- Wells for $14.99, Borg Warner for $53.80, AC Delco for $55.27, and even Holley for $65

I guess my question is...Has anyone ever bought a Well Coil is it any less reliable than the AC DELCO? Which would you buy?

Thanks,
TIM

The Delco coil should not be that high. It's only $34 at Advance Auto. You might consider an MSD or similar that is ~$45.
Wells is just a standard replacement brand.

Are the aftermarket one's like MSD better that the AC Delco? Do they offer more performance on a basically stock engine?

Probably not that you could tell, but I know the MSD coil has lower resistance wiring than my stock coil. It should put out more voltage.

One more question, is it possible to buy a coil wire on it's own? i am thinking of changing mine every year.

You can buy individual wires at the dealer, but they are pricey.
