Jason Debbler posted a response to this same question in the site help and suggestions forum. He basically said that due to people wanting the old style for sale site back, or complaining too much about the new classified site, the old style Classified forum is back as of Today (26 August 2006).

Personally, I liked the new Classified section over the old un-organized one that is now back.

I like the old system better. Look at the post by Daniel6718 at 1:10
today(8-26). How long do you think it would take to post and view all his items with the new system? Probably at least an hour or 2 to post them and 20 minutes to view and open each item. I just viewed them all in under a minute! Way to go Jason and friends! I see the thread count has already increased drastically!!! I'm back and shopping!!!!

 

One thing I liked about the new setup was being able to upload pictures into your ad.

 

the other format is what made this site better than the others. This is stupid

In this forum and the Lounge, we asked everyone for their opinions on things, and we listened to everyone who took the time to reply. That was how we made our decison in which direction to go.

If you have a suggestion for the current setup, we would love to hear it. Sorry, we have no plans of bringing the old Classified system back. Too many problems, see the links above.
