Arrow Very poor server output....

For the past week or so, posting and reading on the board has been a real challenge. Sometimes I have to wait 5 minutes and keep refreshing from time to time until I get something. When posting, it takes about 2-3 minutes from the notification to the actual post. This sometimes results in double or triple posting (didn't happen to me, but I see it happening very often to others)
or complete loss of a typed message. (this already happened twice while posting this message) I'm on a T3 connection at work, I have cable at home and both of them are just as bad.

Can something be done?
Thanks!

Yep, we know about this. We have been working on the server here and there, and sometimes it needs to he halted to do maintenance. This happens maybe once or twice a year at this level...if that.

Sorry for the problems!

It's been better since the maintenance the other day. Thanks, Jason.

[edit] still took me 3 tries to reply to this thread (doesn't always happen), but it is better.

I don't want to complain, I want to say thanks and that the site has been working well for me lately.

I know there is a lot of traffic here and that you guys don't get enough appreciation for keeping it running smoothly.
