for sale forum idea

i was thinking when selling something on the board, it be mandatory to provide pics off the bat with a piece of paper saying your board name, the website name and the date. helps on the mazda board weed out scammers, and makes it easier for the buyer to see if they like what is being sold without having to ask for pics and wait for some to be emailed to them etc etc

What about requiring any images to include a shot of the VIN plate? That kind of helps those of us looking at car reports.

They already tried to rearrange the for sale section into sub-forums for different types of parts. It didn't go over very well.

^ even if its just subbed to Interior/exterior/drivestrain ?

Dont see that being difficult, and I second the having pictures ready! Sales could be made much quicker! I know I always have pics before posting the thread!

another good idea would be something like- to start a thread in the for sale section you need to have more than 50 posts or be a member for longer than 3 months to help weed out the scammers

I think you should be required to have an asking price and location as well.

Scammers are getting worse and worse everyday. They should make a separate forum to make everything organized with seller ratings and past history.
