Arrow A Political Debate Forum

I found a forum designed specifically for political debates:

http://www.americasdebate.com/

Maybe we can have the CZ28.com right wing and left wing political debate teams head over there.

The Corvette Forum has a section designated as: Politics, Religion and Controversy. It does not mean "anything goes". NO personal attacks. Items presented as facts must be backed up with a link. Other than the occational troll, we have no problems with heated discussions.

I beleive it would be good for camaross.com to have something similar. It allows issues of debate such as politics and religion(which tend to get heated, at times) to be seperated from general "Off Topic" posts. But it still allows the same user group to participate.

Good idea. Everyone can do their political thing over there where it is more proper.

It's cool that it works well over at The Corvette Forum, but many people here have already given sufficient proof dozens of times that they cannot maintian a sense of respect and control over themselves when it comes to politics. This ENTIRE SITE has a policy of no personal attacks and there is no implied permission for an "anything goes" atmosphere. People decide to ignore that as it is, again, because they cannot control themseves. There is no need to perpetuate that kind of behavior by promoting it with an additional forum.

A nice idea in theory, but it won't work here.
