No avatars or inlines, how about more smilies?

I think Avatars and inlines would be much, but I think we need a larger array of smilies. We DEFINITELY need this one :

And not, we are not going to use the

Damn, their SPOILED! A chat room would get pretty confusing w/ all of those jumping around in there.

Look about half way down, they have a third gen as there DRAG smiley. A little insulted by the huge ricer wing, but then again at least the smiley driving doesnt have a Mullet.

Ditto. The ones on LS1.com are a little cooler, save for the last 30 or so. I also noticed that they have some sort of mouseover code set up such that you can drag your mouse over the link on the thread, and it shows the preview of the post (very cool, IMO).

We're not allowed to use the messageboard as a chat room. That is what the chat room is for.

Plus, it makes the site better, or something.
