Its been a long time since I have uploaded any pictures when posting a reply or thread. So how is it done?

 

Your probably gonna get told to do a search, it's been asked before but I think it is a good question. From what I understand and what I think your question asks very well, is that you can link to a picture already hosted on the web but uploading a picture to the site does not and cannot happen. You can post a pic by posting a link to that pic. If you right click and go to properties on any pic posted on this site you can see the url of that pic. So if you have a pic on your machine you want to share you can only share it if it is already hosted somewhere else. I may be wrong but I would like to hear from some of the others that know more on this subject.

I remember 3 or 4 years back that their was a way to upload a picture from files in my computer to a thread or reply to a thread. Been awhile since I've tried.

 

You gotta get the pic hosted by tinypic.com or another free hosting sight then link by using the Insert Link button (planet w/chain link) when writing the message.

 

Must be another site, because we've never allowed attachements to be uploaded to our site.

 

Photobucket.com is a great hosting site for free.
