as in subject line how are you guys placing pics into the body of your posts and not just the address line

 

use the [img] tags.

the pic needs to be hosted somewhere too. i use www.tinypic.com.

 

so, I upload it to this tinypic place,,, and then copy the tag and when I place the tag in my message people will see the pic without having to link to it?

I have tried this with the preview post and all I see is the address line in red font as a link I do not see an actual pic.

Replace the parenthesis with [ and ] brackets.

 

For the sake of not getting an error, i'm putting periods in the tags, you should not when using them.

ALSO, it is considered rude to put a HUGE image that messes up the screen formatting and forces people to scroll horizontally (this thread is case in point). If it is big, just post the LINK to the image.

Yeah I saw that huge photo but when I hosted it didn't auto shrink it, can I go back in and shrink it or what can I do, once I know how not to post the pics so large you can delete this thread if you want.

 

Never mind I figured it out delete this thread if you want as yes I hate it when images are way big.

Yep, if it is too big, just don't use the [IMG] tags.
