Deleting posts

Not sure who to direct this to being several different moderators here, but yet another post has disappeared.. I was wondering if you could just lock the post and not outright delete them? Too much to ask for?.. Seems like a new thing here is to just delete a post, leaving people confused as to why. What do you think?

In the past it seems as though they lock the first offending thread, but if the person continues to post and the mods think they know damn well why it's being locked already and are just ignoring the rules, or if the post contains offensive content that can't easily be edited out, they'll delete it.

If it doesn't belong here, it doesn't belong here. This includes political threads loaded with arguing (which is probably what you are referring to, if not some thread about religion). There is no need to keep that junk here because it didn't belong in th first place. You'd think that people would get the idea after a while but instead they choose to display how ignorant and disrespectful they can be.

Next time, e-mail us and ask. Don't post it here.
