Classifieds Idea
Classifieds Idea
First off - I actually like the new classified layout. If I'm looking for something specific, it's easy to find it quickly. But I do have a suggestion. I searched this forum first, and found that it was mentioned by kick Z tail out here, but you didn't address one of the issues he raised.
When I see something in the classifieds that I'm interested in buying, the first thing I want to do is to try to get a "feel" for the seller - how long have they been around the board, are they an asset or an a--hole to the board's members, etc. You know, scan through some of their posts/threads to try to get an idea if the guy will be good to deal with or not. This would be made easier if there was a link to the person's message board profile, not just their classifieds profile (as suggested by kick Z tail out).
I know there's a work-around of course - searching the members list. But a direct link would be handy.
Thanks for the consideration.

This is especially important NOW due to the fact that the classifieds system is new and there is no feedback. Everytime I see a potential item I want to buy I goto Search and search thier username and look at how many posts they have, the registration date, and I look at a couple random posts to get an idea of thier personality. (Dick, kind, etc.)
