ZFX Problem Help!

My bottle of ZFX hardened into a gel like substance. The lid was on tight. I just finished with PC and need to get polish on. Any suggestions?

Re: ZFX Problem Help!

You don't have to have ZFX to use the polish. It'll just take longer for the polish to dry.

Re: ZFX Problem Help!

The main reason it dries out is if it isn't sealed adequately. The cap needs to be on tight and then I plave the tube inside the 2 oz. bottle with the blue cap and put the cap on tight. Never an issue with drying out that way. But it can also do it if it is pretty old ZFX or stored in very high or low temps.

E-mail Sal. This has happened to me 2 or 3 times in the past, and he sent me replacement bottles each time.

How is he on replacing it? I think mine is almost 2 years old, and it just hardened up... Its pretty old but I still had maybe 1/3 a bottle of it left, I even kept it inside one of the mixing containters too.

He's pretty good.....usually when I tell him what happened (hardened up), he asks for my name and address, and I have a new one ~3 days later.

ZFX has a shelf life of 18 months when stored properly (between 65-75 degrees).

I sell Zaino at my LINE-X shop in Fort Worth. I won't carry ZFX anymore, it goes bad fast. Stick with Z-1.

Re: ZFX Problem Help!

I buy alot of Zaino, even extra for the locals around me and I have never had a single bottle dry out yet. I had one friend who had his dry out but said he didn't think it was sealed tight.

Unless there was a bad batch or something, it dried out because it was either old or it wasn't sealed tightly and dried out. That is the only reasons I've heard of why the ZFX dries out, hardly Sal's problem, but he is so high on customer sevice he replaces them anyway. Try that with any other product.

I must have had a bad batch. I have 5, that's 5 UNOPENED bottles that have gone bad. They were all received at the same time and were no more than 3 months old when I discovered they dried up. I'm sending them back to Sal.

I don't think he'll ask for you to send them back, he'll probably just send you new ones. It seems very common. So far every ZFX I've had has crusted up.
