Zaino question
Re: Zaino question
I know not to use Dawn regularly and that it won,t remove Zaino. I know you are suppose to use Dawn to remove any type of wax before you use Zaino the first time. What I'm asking is, after you have use Zaino and use another type of product, should you use Dawn to remove that product before re-applying Zaino.

1. First all Zaino in that area is removed due to the abrasive action of the polish compound. and...
2. You apply oils to the paint surface where the repair was done, you do not need to Zaino over these foreign oils, you will need to re-clean that area before re-applying Zaino.
But this does not mean you need to wash the car with Dawn either all over again, simply rub the repaired area with alcohol (the rubbing kind, not the drinking kind...) and it will remove the oils from the repaired area and allow the Zaino to make a hard bond with the paint in that area.......

I did not know that I should be cleaning the areas with alcohol after using the 3M
I've only used 'Finesse-It' a couple of times, and followed up with Zaino to bring back the shine, and so far, the results were fine. I'll remember that for furture "repairs". Thanks
