As of right now my car has Mothers wax on it, I put a coat on a few weeks ago. I am going to buy Zaino's Z-1 Show Car Polish Lok and Z-2 Show Car Polish for Clear Coated Car Finishes. It says to use Dawn's dish detergent before applying the Polish Lok. Is this set really needed after washing the car? Will the wax that is already on my car affect how the polish turns out? Oh yea, what is the best conditions to wash and wax a car in ,sunny, cloudy, hot, cool, etc.?

Edit: Anyone use the Z-7 Show Car Wash? Do you think it is worth it, right now I am using some kind of Turtle car wash:blah: Does anyone have a coupon code?

 

Zaino will not work properly when applied on top of another wax. The Dawn wash is to get rid of the other wax so the Zaino will stick. Ditch the Z1 and get ZFX instead. It speeds up the process. I'd use the Z7. Oh, less is best with Zaino. Put it on very thin.
