Post Zaino question!!!!!

I will be done painting my car saturday. it is a base/clear coat job and will be pretty slick after i get it done. i want an awesome shine just like the website says but dont know what to get. im thinking i need some zfx and z2 for the waxing. is this the correct wax for my need? also will i need to buy the soap or will the dawn or detergent work fine? also should my first coat be zaino or could i use some other wax and come back with it?

thanks for the answers,
will

(ill probably have a few more later)

Since your paint will be new, I'd suggest you get ZFX, Z2, Z6, and Z7. NO, don't use DAWN unless you apply some other wax before Zaino. DAWN is only used to strip previous wax so Zaino will bond properly. If you don't use any other wax products before Zaino, there will be no need for Dawn. Just use the Zaino Z7 wash and be prepared for these

dont put wax on first - then cover it woth zaino. The wax will be sealed under the zaino and the eventual yellowing effect will also be sealed under it . . .

there are some people who do a mix of a fav wax and zaino - they claim a uniqueness to it that zaino didnt provide them .

however, with ZFX - the effect they were trying to achieve has been stuffed into the Zaino bottle, so there would be no need to do both kinds of products . . .

You mauy want to clay it first to make sure there is no overspray on the surface.
