Post Zaino does WHAT???!!

I'm thinking about purchasing some Zaino products for my ride, my only problem is my neighbor, who professionally details cars told me that doing things like "using dash cleaner/armor on my car will make the vinyl fade, etc, etc." He just went on about how bad some things are for my car. He said that it's because we live in Phoenix and the sun will just fade the dash and everything really bad.
So is this guy right? Is Ziano going to screw up my ride, because I won't even waste my $$$ then. I think he may be right to a certian extent....but not that extreme.
Someone please fill me in, thanks!

Zaino has been on the market for years, and I've never heard ONE case of Zaino harming anyone's finish. Zaino is nonabrasive and contains NO harsh chemicals so there is basically NO WAY it would ever do harm to any paint. Did this guy specifically say that Zaino would mess your paint up? If so, he has NO CLUE. What did he recommend you use, in his "professional" opinion?

He's right though, Armorall is known for causing fading/cracking problms.

I should've specified earlier, he did not say Zaino in particular. Just in general, he said that I shouldnt use cleaners on my dash or my wheels because it would cause fading on my dash, and would cause the rubber on the wheels to deteriorate.
Anyways, as far as you Zaino guys go, i dont want to spend tons of money on EVERY Zaino product, but I would like to purchase the basic "necessities" such as wheel & glass cleaner, and well as a detail spray and wash itself. Also where can I get the royal velvet cloth everyone is raving about, and should I get the Zaino stuff directly through them?
Thanks again!

Armorall bad, Zaino GREAT!!!

I've been using it for 4 years, you can't buy anything better for the the protection of your car and it won't be affected by the Arizona heat like a carnuba based product would.

Your friend is right in one way, products that contain liquid silicone like Armor All does, can in fact do those things. But you can tell your friend that all of Zaino's products contain ZERO silicone, not even the tire dressing.

On the dash, you can use the Z-16 Tire Gloss for a high shine or the Z-10 Leather in a Bottle on the dash for a low luster, both products contain a UV blocker.

As far as a silicone tire product like Armor All ruining the tires, NAH!!!! you will be replacing the tires for lack of tread WAY before the sidewall would have time to crack or dry out.

As far as towels go, I am the towel guy, here is my info on the ones I make:

I have two kinds of towels, both white color only, edges removed and re sewn on a
special machine called a serger with all cotton thread to prevent ravel. I have
Fieldcrest Royal Velvet and Fieldcrest Charisma, the Royal Velvets are great but the
Charismas are heavier and softer.

My standard towels come in a pack of 2 sized 20 inches by 28 inches approx., one
pack of Royal Velvet is 15.00 and one pack of Charismas are 18.00. I can do special
orders, full sized towels, 2 to a pack, or 4 to a pack(each pack contains the same
amount of toweling, just cut different)

I just noticed this little bit. Some folks think that the glass polish is like Windex or a glass cleaner. It isnt. Check the product info at www.zainobros.com on that one before you order.
