Post surface scratches

Does anybody know if surface scratches from washing your car can be removed with polish. I've been using Zaino but the scratches are reduced but won't go away completly. I know I could use a orbital buffer but I'm afraid I'll create more on a black car. What do you all think?

If you keep getting scratches from washing, you are using the wrong materials. Use a 100% cotton wash mitt, the white Viking mitt is excellent and only use 100% cotton towels, the good ones not the cheap Walmart types. Using Z-5 will gradually fill them in but it may take several coats, but if you are putting more in every time you wash your car you are in a loosing battle. Even if you grind off some clear coat to get rid of the scratches your tools or your technique is just putting them back in again.

I'd try to keep filling them with the Zaino and take a hard look at what you are using and your technique to figure out what the problem is and how you keep putting more scratches on the car every time you wash.
