Re: Zaino?

Just like Lower, I bought into the hype and purchased the starter kit. I am not going to bash the product. But, I will say I get as good of a shine with other off the shelf products. Sure, you can layer with Zaino to keep your protection going. If you are somewhat **** like myself, off the shelf waxes don't have a chance to wear off before I am waxing again, thus I am keeping my protection going. I would probably stay with Zaino, but when I have to spend almost $8-$9 in shipping to replenish one bottle of wax, that is rediculous. Put it on the shelves and it will sell alot better IMO.

BTW, if anyone is interested in my remnants, let me know.

The black tick marks to the right of each bottle mark how much of each bottle is left.

Re: Zaino?

so let me get this right...
you use the z1 to clean the car and get it ready for the shiney stuff right? then after that you use the z2 or z3. if i read correctly the z2 and z3 are almost the same but the z3 is just has more shine? and then the z5 is for dark colored cars?

Most people haven't used Z-1 since the ZFX came out. But yes you can use Z-1 to help clean the surface. Z-3 has an additive to help prevent oxidation on single stage paints. Z-2 Pro is the most "shiney" product. Think of Z-5 as a thicker version of the Z-2 to help fill in minor swirl marks.

Z-7 is the actual car wash.

Lower, how much do you want for all that stuff?

Re: Zaino?

On a daily driver I use Zaino, no questions asked since I care more about protecting my paint with as little effort involved as possible than making it look good until the next time it rains.

If I had a sunday driver that never got taken through rain, dirty back roads, and general day to day rush hour traffic, I'd probably use a product that made the vehicle look better than Zaino (there are plenty of products out there that produce a better looking result than Zaino). But for pure and simple ease of use and longevity of protection on a daily driven car, Zaino is it, hands down IMO.

Regarding point #1, I haven't found anything that goes on or comes off as easily, or is as easy to maintain as Zaino. My time is worth $$$ to me.

Regarding point #2, if you call the main Zaino number, you can find if there's a reseller in your area. I've used Zaino for over 5 years and I've never mail-ordered anything except for the Fusion (and I was getting it before it was publicly released).
