Windsheild has marks from the wipers, is it possible to buff out?

My 97 has markes from the extended use of the windsheild wipers, if it's possible to buff out, how would I go about doing it?

IDK. Never tried it. If they are just marks, try steel wool. If they are scratches, you can try to buff it, but I think glass is hard

My paint guy says he uses 2000 grit sand paper that's made for glass followed by a compound.

yes you can buff glass. use a cutting compound on it, you shouldn't need to wet sand it.

You can buy Glass Polish anywhere you buy car wax. Wax on; wax off.
