Why does everyone put 8 coats of Zaino on?
You put on 8 coats one after another or is this like over a period of time?
Once I get some money I'm going to order everything I need but I want to get everything set now.
Thanks

It varies by user as to how many Z coats you like. Most Zainoers apply another coat whenever they have time because it's so easy and takes no time. The wetness, depth, and slickness increases after each and every coat since Zaino layers, so it really becomes addicting after a while. I've got around 40+ coats on my Camaro, but that's over a long period of using Zaino and before ZFX came out. With ZFX the Z layers can be added very quickly and the number of coats built up really jumps in a hurry.
The great thing about Zaino is that it works outstanding regardless if you apply 2 coats or 200 coats. Obviously the more coats the better the protection and shine. Once you're addicited to Z, you'll understand the obsession...

I'm not sure how many coats I have on, probably around 10 or so, but I had the car into the dealer for an oil change recently and noticed that I hade some light impurities on the passenger side fender right near the hood. Anyways I used some 3M swirl remover on them and the went away, but I decided to apply it from basically the halfway point of the tire to the start of the nose of the car. When I was finished looked at an angle which made it visible to see where the Zaino line stopped and the newly un-Zainoed part began.
There was a difference. Staying power of Zaino vs. the removing affects of 3M.
I Z6'd the whole section and I couldn't see the line at all after that.
