White spots???

Hey ya'll i gots a question...

I currently have a bra on my z. i want to take it off.
i took it off to look under it.
i saw these spots.
these white spots.
now my question.
are these water spots in the wax?
if so what is the best way to strip the wax so i can do it again and make it look good?
and what wax is recommended? i may have to get it repainted. i dunno yet. i won't get a chance to really do anything with it until next thursday.
Any suggestions...ideas...would be...GREATLY....appreciated.
Thanks.

How do you wash your car generally? The wax can be removed easily at a car wash. If you hand wash like I do use dish soap and hot water for the cleaning, should take it right off if it's calcium build up or what not. I know in the water where I live there are lots of things that cause water spots. Best way to keep them off is to use a chamois or squeegee to get all the water off the car before waxing. I haven't found a wax that will take out water spots, just make them worse. Wax the whole car before putting the bra back on too. With my car I have spots but they are where the previous owner didn't wash bugs off and they baked into the paint and ruined it. When I wax it makes it a ton worse. Just a possibilty.

hey thanks. i think you are right about the calcium build-up.
i wasn't planning on putting the bra back on it because i want to put a grille and some turn signal blackout on. I will have to give the squegee or chamois a try. Thanks.

If just a white spot/cloudy areas then the paint probably isn't damaged. You might need to have a professional detailer "fix" it for you but that is way better than a repaint
