Whats a good wax for an old white car? Other than Zaino..
My roommate just bought this car today:

The paint is kinda turned a bit I think from its original white colour, so we were wondering what would be a good process to get her back to better shape other than having her repainted
thanks,

I'm gonna agree with the previous posts. You're gonna have to do some prep on the car to get it in shape. I'd start out with Meguiar's and/or 3M prep products, and it may take several different products to make the job perfect. Meguiar's makes many good paint cleaners and other abrasives as does 3M....
Check out some of the products on this page for restoration work, many can easily be found locally: http://www.goodspeedmotoring.com/sub...egory=Polishes
I'd recommend you start by washing and claying the paint, followed by a swirl remover like 3M SMR, then followed by a paint cleaner like Meguiar's Body Scrub, Meguiar's Medallion Paint Cleaner, or Mother's cleaner, then by a wax for final gloss and protection. Lots of work....yes, but if you want it done right, it's necessary. If you wanna take the quick way out, just wash, clay, then do Mothers or Meguiar's cleaner wax, preferably Mother's.....

Liquid glass i hear is good for older cars like that. My freinds dad had a sacred bottle of that he was saving on his shelf cause it disapeared for a while off the market. I think a good carnubba cleaner wax will be good as well.
I know you've been hearing all sorts of varied opinions in this thread so far... but TRUST ME when I say get NuPolish. That stuff works absolute wonders on older cars. I've seen it happen with my own eyes many times.
