What is this wax on my car?

What is this wax on my car?
OK, the other day I washed and waxed my car. Then yesterday or today, I noticed spots that "looked" like I missed buffing out the wax. And it doesn't really want to come off very easy, or blend in. WTF?
That wasn't there a few days ago, what happened? Was it transparent, and then the sun or something made it visible. It looks like I might have missed those spots, but I would have seen them. I'm just confused!
And yes, with Zaino, I probably wouldn't have this problem.
(I'm just guessing someone would say something like that
