What to use after 3M finish glaze???

I rubbed my black truck down a couple of times with 3M Perfect-it III fine compound then went over it a couple of times with 3M Perfect-it III finish glaze. Should I put wax or Zaino over this?
I had some bad swirl marks on the truck.
I do have the Zaino products. It didn't do much for the marks on the truck. Though I believe the towels I was using might have been part of the problem.
Also, another question. Our water is well water. After washing a black vehicle it is very difficult to get the water stains or marks off. any suggestins?
Thanks,
Kevin

If you buffed out the swirls already with 3M, then go ahead and wash the car and Zaino right over it. I think you may want to Dawn-wash off the excess 3M though. Wait and hear a second opinion.

You will have to wash the truck with Dawn to remove the oils left by the 3M products, Zaino will not adhere to oils, only bare paint. You of course will want to use Z-5 for several coats to fill in the imperfections.

I have well water also and I do not have a spotting problem, if you are causing water spots when you wash you may be washing the surface when the paint is too hot and the water dries faster than you can dry the truck. Try to wash when the sun is low in the sky, and dry it quickly. Taking the nozzle off the hose and letting a steady stream of water running from the top of the truck down all sides will remove 90% of the standing water droplets. Also on black, only use a cotton wash mit or cotton toweling to wash it with, no sponges or polyester wash mits....
