What type of wax?
What type of wax?
Alright I'm gonna be getting some Mcguires NXT wax this weekend. Just wondering what type of wax you all use. I can't decide what I should get, I don't really know the difference. Who uses paste and who uses liquids, reasons?

Is the Mothers and Megiars Gold better than the NXT? I was under the assumption the NXT was the best.
Re: What type of wax?
NXT is good, Meguiar's Gold Class is great... NXT is a cleaner wax and has abrasives in it. While some say that Meguiar's Gold Class also has abrasives in it, Meguiars themselves say that it doesn't and that it has no abrasives or cleaner properties. Mothers on the other hand is horrid. But, that's just from my personal experience... you can read my Mother's review further down in this forum.
Edit: Oh, and as far as the paste vs liquid... from what I've heard paste has beter durability over liquid. Personally, I wax my car every other day at most, twice a week at the least... so durability has never been an issue with me.

Re: What type of wax?
I've been using the nxt liquid, and have been impressed with the results. goes on easy, and comes off about as easy, but next time i will probalby try the paste. I have some gold class liquid, but never use it. I might this weekend just for a trial.

The best I have ever used.

Liquid Polymer protection, no better way. Carnaubas are old school these days, I find my best results attained with products like Four Star Ult. Paint Protection, Blackfire, EX-P......
