What is this on my convertible top?

What is this on my convertible top?

This spots on the drivers side door, there also spots on the very back bottom part of the top. There VERY noticable, any ideas on what is is and how to fix it?

Looks like a spill of some type or someone threw something on your car, maybe an egg, I dont know. Anyway, the dye is gone, looks like it will have to be re-dyed, take it to an upholstry shop.

I don't think they can re-dye the tops....I asked a few shops and they all said that it couldn't be done to my car.

I talked to a somewhat upolstry expert today. She said that some fabics have a special "hot" dye that has to be baked and she said that because of durability reasons it wouldn't match to use a "cold" dye because it would fade the first time water got on it and probably couldn't match the color of the top. So is there any solution?

What I would do is call www.haartz.com that is the company that actually makes the fabric itself for General Motors...
