I just put a lt-1 in my 89 iroc and the engine has been sitting in a car for over a year just sitting there. It looks like crap, i was wondering what i could use to make it look nice and new again? I would like to paint the intake sometime but that will be when i put a cam and stuff in the car not now. I just want the engine to look new again. Thanks

Polishing a LT1 intake while it is still on the engine to me would be very hard. www.eastwoodco.com sells a lot of metal polishing stuff or you could paint it with www.por15.com

thanks for the tip, im going to order me some porting bits also. I think im going to use some steel woul or something for the intake though. It has been sitting for so long that it just has a white film on it, same with the water pump. Thanks for the help kevin.
