Hey guys, hoping someone on here could enlighten me as to what cowl hood I have on my car. I bought the car as a roller and didnt get much info. It is a bolt-on glass hood, roughly 4" cowl. It looks like it had provisions for the "cowl induction" emblems, but one side is missing "induction" and I would like to order the correct one...





there are holes where the emblem went (not double sided tape), so thats why im curious if anyone can help. Thanks!

Those holes were drilled and the emblems added. That is a 4" glastek. The one i have on my car.

I didnt really have many issues at all. A little trim here and there. Its been a good hood. Mine is bolt on, is yours.

 

Yes the hood is a bolt on and it was lined up really well. I need to get the motor dropped in soon so I can get working on an air pan for the carb to take advantage of the cowl...

 

I have a second car i want to get the same hood for except this one is Patriot Red. I hope i have the same luck with the hood as i did the first one.

 

The emblem your asking about looks to be from a 1970 Chevelle SS cowl hood.
