waxes that layer
waxes that layer
Is Zaino the only wax that will layer on top of itself, or is there other brands that will do the same thing. I understand that it must be a wax with no abrasives otherwise no it will not layer. Thanks guys.
Well, as said there are very very few products in the world (literally) that can build and layer upon itself. The most important thing, obviously, is that the product HAS to be nonabrasive. Sadly, 99% of the products on the market are abrasive in some form, so they won't layer.
That said.....Zaino, Klasse, DuraGloss, and a few less known products are ones that have the ability to layer that I know of. Carnauba waxes IMO don't layer well. You really can't layer oils on tops of more oils. Sure, there may be a buildup of carnauba, but carnauba is not what makes a wax shine, so that doesn't matter IMO..... Besides, a buildup of carnauba may not be good anyhow, as I've seen firsthand how it can discolor a finish. some of the better carnauba products have less "coloring" effects than others.
