Waterspots on T top

I had to purchase a pair of t tops and one of them is covered in watermarks. They are not too bad, but under the light they become visable. I have tried using compound (rubbing 3m) and wax, nothing is doing it for me. I used glass cleaner and other bug and tar remover before the compound. Anybody have any ideas?

or, believe it or not......"The Works" tub and tile cleaner, followed by glass cleaner to remove the film left from The Works.
also, spray The Works on a towel then rub it on the glass....keep it off any paint or trim.
