tree sap

ok i have some dried tree sap on my window andrear quarter panel and wanted to know what to use to get it off. bug and tar remover didn't get it all and ineed it off it makes me so to look at it...thanks for any hlp!

I used patience and a claybar to get mine off. You have to be careful though. Whatever you do, don't use a razor blade. Learned that the hard way on my hood in one spot

Try 3M All-Purpose Adhesive Cleaner.....scroll down the link to read about it.

Or, for the cheap solution, try alcohol or a mineral spirit. Dab a cotton cloth with the liquid then gently rub the sap away. Actually, the sap should dissolve while you are rubbing.

Don't forget to polish/wax the area after you do this
