Check my site for info about my car!
I use the black magic gel. I tried the meguires, but since it is purple, I hate the way it looks when it collects in the nooks and crannys of the tire!! The black magic is clear gel, so this doesn't happen.
JET WET!!!
its like tire wet but dries like spray silicon when i bought that no more splatter at all and its easy to put on you can get it at auto zone i dunno anywhere else to get it besides there though

The Meguires' Endurane smells yummy but it still flies off of the tire at high speed....even if you allow it to dry over night. I remember seeing a product at a car show where they had this spray on stuff that hardened on the tire and would not come off. It looked like liquid plastic when it hardened.

I noticed this was posted in the wrong forum (should be Show and Shine!) but since the question was basically answered (or so I thought!) I didn't move it. I thought it would just die. However, you guys like talking about Tire Gloss A LOT!!! LOL!
So, I'll go ahead and move it now

My car is white.. I used to get the black splatter crap all over the place until I started doing it this way.
Hope that helps.

Another way I do it is to spray a large amount on the tires before I wash the car, then just wash the tires with water and a rag, but cleans and shines them pretty good. It doesn't splater that way either.

My recent tire shine regemin goes like this:
1 coat of Black Magic Silver Tire Tint
1 coat of Meguiars High Gloss
Let dry for half an hour or so.
The tires will stay shiny for usually around 2 weeks or so. Best of all, I have noticed very, very little slinging onto my quarter panels. I'm talking 2-3 drop-sized areas on the inside edge of my wheel well. And they wipe right off with a rag.
I use Meguiers Endurance, but i have a problem putting too much on. After i go out driving, i just wipe it off the paint with a rag and everything is good. I usually apply the stuff 2 times a week over the summer when im home from school. Ive also seen some guy in a van that had a really nice gloss on his tires. He said he uses some spray paint gloss stuff. I never heard of this before
.
.
I also use meguiars, but I stick with the #40 (I think)
, anyways it's the vinyl and rubber cleaner protectant. I know it's primarily for the inside of the car but if you clean your tires well with a brush when washing and then apply some of the silicone spay to your handy foam applicator pad (available at your local autozone) and then wipe the applicator around the tire a few times you get a nice shine only on your tires that does not sling off at all. It lasts at least a week or more, just redo the process everytime you wash. I know everyone of you here washes at least once a week right? Also, I don't care for the greasy gelled mirror look - while some may care for that I don't plan on using my tires as a mirror for shaving or personal grooming of any kind any time soon
. I just like a little light sheen and the #40 does that perfectly and it never slings off and one bottle goes A LOT farther and is much cheaper than those cans of foam or gel packets.

I tend to agree with Lost. Meguiar's #40 is a good choice, especially since it's available locally, as is Zaino Z16 (my personal pick), 303 Protectant, etc....I like the lower gloss look too and certainly hate products that sling all over the car. Until I tried Zaino and 303, I had given up on tire shines all together. Before using them, Meguiar's Endurance was my pick, but it did sling and made cleaning the wheels harder for me too.

I like Black Magic gel myself. It doesn't sling, and it is glossy but not over the top glossy. I like Endurance as well, but it does sling if you don't let it sit for a while.
I'm going to try the Zaino protectant one of these days.

Well i use this stuff called black magic... the dpary works really well and has a high gloss but the only time it has ever come off was on the back of the tire and ends up tooking like tar. It also come in wipes and i bet thoses would work just as well and wouldn't spray off! but i haven't tried them yet
