Swirl / Light Scratch, Gloss.. (12 year old paint)
Any tips to help remove light scratches and swirl marks? It's for the car in the sig, red. I just got it about 3 months ago so now that it's warming up I'm trying to get it cleaned up. Thus far I've washed it about 4 times. I put "Step 1" of Mequiars 3 step system on it. I'm doing 2 and 3 tomorrow (after washing it again)
After that I guess I'll wait a week and follow up with NXT. How often should I wax it with NXT after that? The plan is to wash it once a week and do "Quik Detailer" once every other week in the summer. Should I Clay Bar it? What about Mequiars "Scratch X"? Is thier a propper order to do everything in? Any tips?
Thanks.

If you have light scratch a product like 3M Scratch & Swirl Remover and a Porter Cable buffer will do a good job, there are other abrasive scratch and swirl removers that will work good too. Make sure after you get the swirls out you use good cotton towels and a cotton wash mitt to keep the scratches and swirls away.
