Do I Need A Buffer For This?

I will not be buying a buffer any time soon, despite whatever you may say to persuade me to . So do I need a buffer for this 3M product?

Or is this one better for hand polishing:

Thanks.

all that i can say is if your doing it by hand, your going to be buffing for days and your going to be a hurtin unit after your done. we use 3M products at work, but ive tried this new stuff at our local paintshop that they recommended me to buff my car with and it works awsome. alot better than 3M products. Its called Norton Liquid Ice. id look into it. the combination of that and a green pad (cut polish pad) made my car look amazing!

I actually found something that's supposed to be pretty good, it's called 1Z Paint Polish, and I'm using a hand applicator that everyone seems to really like, called the "Polishin' Pal". Although there seems to be an error at the 1z polish store that's preventing me from making a purchase right now.

polish isnt going to take out the swirls and scratches. its only going to make the paint shine. if you just want to make the car shine i would consider Zaino.
