Strange buffing technique....would it work with Zaino?
Doing more in-depth homework on car care, I ran across some info I've never heard before regarding final buffing of a polymer called cold cure.
Now, I wouldn't use a sponge if I were to try this, but rather my cotton wash mitt. But, I was mainly wondering if this method could be of any benefit with Zaino? I'm guessing it wouldn't, but I figured I'd ask the pros.
Take a clean sponge and a bucket of cold water (use ice cubes in bucket to get really cold water), and begin wiping the paint finish with the cold wet sponge to cure the polymers and reveal the "wet-look shine". (Note: cold cure can be substituted by spraying and wiping the finish with the lubricating & gloss enhancement spray)

Hehehe, well, I do have experience with many varieties of products and techniques, but I can't call myself a "pro" exactly. Even the experienced, regardless of skill level, need help sometimes.
And, I know there are some here with far more experience (and years) than myself. The way I see it, learning never stops, because there are no absolutes.

Does this mean that after the Zaino dries, you could Z6 it and immediately buff it off? That is, apply the Z6 to the dry Zaino? Sounds like that's one of the methods described in the "cold cure" process.
I think the cold cure thing comes into place after all the material is buffed off with a dry towel. I guess I should have mentioned that this method is used after buffing the dried polymer off the surface to cure the polymer that is left protecting the finish. For instance, if one were to try this with Zaino, you would buff off Z2 or Z5 with a clean cotton towel like normal, and instead of using Z6 as a final wipe for gloss enhancement, you could try the cold cure method using cold water and another dry towel. Honestly, I have no idea if this would work with the Zaino polymers, or if it would be of any real benefit with Zaino. Being that there are many many different polymer types out there, this may work with another type or is recommended with a specific kind, I really don't know. I may try it sometime in the future just for kicks...unless someone says otherwise. I suppose I need to do a little more homework on it first....
